What we offer at Wylie Elite

At Wylie Elite, we strive to develop each athlete’s individual talents through structured, yet fun-filled classes. It is our focus to help each student progress by teaching proper form and technique before moving to the next skill. Our classes are not more than six students per instructor to ensure personalized and individualized development. We offer a variety of programs and services geared toward cheer, tumbling and much more:

Tuition:

$35 Annual Gym Membership Fee
$77/month for Cheer & Tumble Classes (1 hour per week)
$59/month for Tiny Tumblers (45 minutes per week)
$39/month for Jump, Stretch, & Tiny Cheer Classes (30 min per week)
*Each additional class will receive 30% off

Tiny Tumblers Intro

Ages: 3-5 Years Old
Pre-Requisite:None

An introductory class for boys and girls to build strength and balance as well as introduce beginner tumbling skills such as forward rolls, handstands, back bends and cartwheels.

Tiny Tumblers

Ages: 3-5 Years Old
Pre-Requisite:Hold a bridge, handstand, cartwheel

This class is designed for boys and girls to build strength and balance as well as work on technique and further progressing their tumbling skills such as forward rolls, handstands, back bends and cartwheels.

Cheer / Tumble Level 1 Intro

Ages: 5-8 Years Old; 9+
Prerequisite: None

This is an introductory class for young athletes who are new to cheerleading and tumbling. We will focus on forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, backbends, and backbend kick-overs. They will also be taught cheer motions and proper jump technique.

Cheer / Tumble Level 1

Ages: 5-8 Years Old; 9+
Pre-Requisite: Round off and backbend kick-over

This is a fun class for young athletes. We will focus on mastering technique in forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, backbends, backbend kick-overs, and teaching front/back walk-overs. They will also be taught cheer motions and proper jump technique.

Cheer / Tumble Level 2 Intro

Ages: All
Prerequisite: Back and Front Walk-over

A great class for athletes progressing from Level 1, the basics will be covered for good technique from a round-off to a back walkover.  BHS will be introduced as well as more advanced jump sequences, and connecting jumps into tumbling.

Cheer / Tumble Level 2

Ages: All
Prerequisite: Back Handspring Unassisted

Athletes will spend a part of the class perfecting jump technique and motions. Athletes will also further the development of tumbling technique with perfection of the Back Handspring, Round-Off Back Handspring, and Front Handspring. The BHS will be mastered in both standing and running, then multiple skills will be taught into the BHS.

Tumbling Level 1 Intro

Ages: 5-8 Years Old/ 9+
Prerequisites: None

This class is for beginners. Tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, back bends, and back bend kick-overs will be introduced. We will also work on strength and flexibility.

Tumbling Level 1

Ages: 5-8 Years Old/9+
Prerequisites: Back Bend Kick-Over

This is a tumble only class. Tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, back bend and front/back walkovers will be mastered. We will also work on strength and flexibility.

Tumbling Level 2 Intro

Ages: All
Pre-Requisite: Must have a front and back walk-over

This is a tumble only class. This class will further the development of tumbling technique with perfection of the Back Handspring, Round-Off Back Handspring, and Front Handspring. The BHS will be mastered in both standing and running, then multiple skills will be taught into the BHS.

Tumbling Level 2

Ages: All
Prerequisites: Back Handspring Unassisted on Floor

This class continues to strengthen back handsprings and introduces standing/running series.

Tumbling Level 3 Intro

Ages: All
Prerequisites: Back Handspring and Round-Off Back Handspring Series

This is a tumble only class. This class will further the development of tumbling technique with perfection of the front/back tuck. Athletes will also be taught running Back Tucks and Back Handspring Series to a Tuck.

Tumbling Level 3

Ages: All
Prerequisites: Back Handspring and Round off Back Handspring Series

This is a tumble only class. This class will further the development of tumbling technique with perfection of the front/back tuck. Athletes will also learn running Back Tucks and Back Handspring series to a Tuck.

Tumbling Level 4 Intro

Ages: All
Prerequisites: Round Off Back Handspring Tuck Unassisted on floor

Class mastering level 3 skills and introducing Level 4 skills such as standing backs and layouts

Tumbling Level 4

Ages: All
Prerequisites: Round-Off Back Handspring Back Tuck and Front Tuck
This is a tumble only class. This class will further the development of tumbling technique with perfection of the Layout, Whips, Standing Back Tucks and Series to a Layout.

Tumbling Level 5 Intro

Ages: All
Prerequisites for Level 5:  Strong Level 4 standing and running specialty passes.

This is a tumbling only class.  Focus is on working towards fulls, doubles, and specialty through to full/double.

Tumbling Level 5

Ages: All
Prerequisites for Level 5:  Full on floor, unassisted

This is a tumbling only class.  Focus is on working towards doubles, and specialty through to full/double.

 

Boys Power Tumbling

Ages: 5-9 Years Old
Prerequisites: None
Although all of our classes cater to both boys and girls, this class is a boys only class. We will progress these athletes in their tumbling skills, starting with beginning skills then working them up to more advanced skills. We will also focus on strength and flexibility.

Try-Out Prep

Ages: Junior High and Highschool
Prerequisites: None
This class will get your athlete ready for upcoming school cheer tryouts. We will work on jumps, motions, performance, entrance and confidence as well as tumbling.

All-Star Prep

Ages: All
Prerequisites: None
This class is designed for athletes wanting to try-out for All-Star or Rec/Prep Teams. Focus will be on jumps, motions, technique and tumbling.
