Class Descriptions

Tiny Tumbler Intro

Ages 3-5 years old
Prerequisites: None
An introductory class for boys and girls to build strength and balance, as well as introduce beginner tumbling skills such as forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and backbends.

 

Tiny Tumblers

Ages 3-5 years old
Prerequisites: Handstand, able to hold a bridge, strong cartwheel
Continuing to build strength. Working on round-offs, back bend kick-overs.

 

Cheer/Tumble Intro

Ages 5-8/9 and up
This class introduces tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, back bend kick-overs. We will also introduce basic jumps and motions.

 

Cheer/Tumble L1

Ages 5-8 years old/9 and up
Prerequisites: Back bend kick-over unassisted
Continuing to strengthen fundamentals while teaching back and front walkovers. Progression in cheer motions and improving proper jump technique.

 

Cheer/Tumble L2 Intro

Prerequisites: Back and front walk-over unassisted
A great class for athletes progressing from Level 1, the basics for level 2 will be introduced and practiced for good technique. We will spend time working on beginner jump sequences as well as more advanced cheers and dances.

Cheer/Tumble L2

Prerequisites: Back Handspring unassisted
After your athlete has their back handspring, they will move into this class where they will begin to connect their back handspring with other skills. Back handspring series will be worked on as well as more advanced jump sequences, and connecting jumps into tumbling.

Tumbling Level 1 Intro

Ages 5-8 years/9 and up
Prerequisites: None
Beginning tumbling skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, and back bend kick-overs. We will also work on strength and flexibility.

 

Tumbling Level 1

Ages 5-8 years/9 and up
Prerequisites: Back bend kick-over unassisted
Continuing to strengthen fundamentals while teaching back and front walkovers.

 

Tumbling Level 2 Intro

Prerequisites: Back and front walk-over unassisted
Introduction to back handsprings.

 

Tumbling Level 2

Prerequisites: Back handspring unassisted on floor
Continuing to strengthen back handsprings and introducing standing/running series.

 

Tumbling Level 3 Intro

Prerequisites: Standing and running back handspring series
The class will be mastering standing and running series.  Will be introduced to skills such as back and front tucks.

 

Tumbling Level 3

Prerequisites: Spotted tuck
Mastering the back and front tuck unassisted on the floor as well as working level 3 specialty passes.

 

Tumbling Level 4 Intro

Prerequisites: Round off back handspring tuck unassisted on floor
Class mastering level 3 skills and introducing level 4 skills such as standing backs and layouts.

 

Tumbling Level 4

Prerequisites for Level 4:  Spotted lay-out and standing back
Mastering the layout, standing tucks, 2 to tucks and working level 4 specialty passes.

 

Tumbling Level 5

Prerequisites for Level 5:  Strong Level 4 standing and running specialty passes.
Focus is on working towards fulls and level 6 passes.

 

Tumbling Level 6+

Prerequisites for Level 6 and up:  Fulls on floor unassisted
Focus is on mastering fulls, doubles, and specialty through to full/double.

 

Boys Power Tumbling

Ages 5-8/9+ years old
Prerequisites: None
Although all our classes cater to both boys and girls, this class is a boy’s only class. We will progress these athletes in their tumbling skills, starting with beginning skills then working them up to more advanced skills. We will also focus on strength and flexibility.

 

Flyer Training

This class is designed to teach the proper techniques for group stunting. The flyer will focus on building flexibility, strength, and confidence. Coaches will work with athletes as needed from beginner to advanced.

 

Stretch/Flexibility (30 min class)

This class is designed for all athletes. Focus is on increasing flexibility to improve jumps, tumbling and overall athleticism.

 

Jumps & Conditioning (30 min class)

This class is designed for students wanting to focus on jumps and motion techniques.  The class will also work on flexibility and core strength.
